Bird Deterrent Ball Cover
The bird deterrent ball cover camouflages the water surface from waterfowl which prevents unwanted birds from using or contaminating the water. Berms are cleaner as there are no geese droppings around the pond and no droppings will eliminate a potential additional ammonia load.
Many respected biologists have described the ECC ball cover as self cleaning. Bacteria, and other vegetation will not grow on the ECC cover due to the continuous motion of the balls on the surface of the water. This is also another advantage of eliminating waterfowl. If the waterfowl has nothing to eat on the cover they will move on to another area.
The balls also inhibit the formation of foam on the water surface.
The bird deterrent ball cover eliminates odors as it covers 91% of the open surface that holds odors in the waste lagoons.
